Elecon has created wind turbine gearboxes with varying capacities: 55 kW (SBH 410/S) and 250 kW (SBH 280/80). These gearboxes are positioned on a coaxial shaft, situated 40 meters above the ground. The internal components of the gearboxes have undergone carburization, hardening, grinding, and precise profile correction to ensure optimal performance for gear applications that increase speed.
These helical gearboxes are attached to the turbine shaft using a shrink disc, and both the gear teeth and bearings are lubricated through a bath/splash method.
