A power plant in Batangas was grappling with frequent mechanical failures, environmental hazards, and high production and maintenance costs. The plant's machinery relied on a manual lubrication system, compromising the accuracy of the lubrication program. This resulted in unwanted downtime, health and safety risks, and elevated maintenance and production expenses.

To address these issues, Le Price International Corporation (LPI) installed an Automatic Lubrication System. This advanced system, ranging from single port lubricators to complex dual line and reversing units, ensures reliable delivery of lubricants to hundreds of lube points. Additionally, LPI provided the plant with a preventive maintenance service contract to guarantee timely and accurate machine upkeep. Personnel received extensive training and seminars to enhance their machine maintenance knowledge.

The complete installation of the automatic centralized lube system facilitated a continuous and precise flow of fresh lubricant, eliminating the need for lubrication during operation and reducing excess grease from manual lubrication.

Following LPI's installation, the plant reported estimated annual savings of Php. 1,275,314. The maintenance service extended the life of machines and bearings, while plant personnel gained improved technical skills and maintenance processes, ensuring optimal machine performance and safety. All safety issues were thoroughly addressed by LPI's maintenance service.
