A beverage plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, was experiencing issues with their conveyor bearings and other machine parts, leading to occasional shutdowns, production losses, and frequent bearing replacements every three months.
These problems stemmed from manual conveyor lubrication, insufficient grease, and difficult access to hazardous lubrication points.

To address these issues, LPI installed a Simalube Single Point Lubricator. The team initially set up the lubricator on the conveyor center bearings with a System Plast flange, designed for eight months of lubrication.

The Simalube Single Point Lubricator offers an efficient way to grease chains or bearings without the need for an expensive central lubrication system or the constant manual application of grease. The adjustable dial allows users to set the lubrication period to their preference, ensuring consistent lubrication over the specified timeframe.

This solution guarantees the correct type and amount of lubricant is applied to the bearings, reducing grease waste by 60-80%.

As a result, the plant reported a 90% reduction in lubricant costs, leading to an estimated annual savings of Php. 1,000,000. Production efficiency also improved, and all safety concerns were effectively addressed by LPI’s maintenance service.
