The CJC® Oil Contamination Monitor (OCM15) is an advanced sensor for measuring particles and water levels in mineral oils and petroleum-based fluids, typically installed alongside a CJC® Offline Oil Filter.
It provides real-time monitoring through systems like CJC® View, SCADA, or remote access via CJC® T2render.
Key Benefits:
- Provides early wear detection for condition-based maintenance
- Helps avoid breakdowns and reduces failure severity
- Delivers reliable data without miscounting air bubbles
- Monitors particles as small as a micron, giving early warnings and preventing major damage
- Increases return on investment and protects assets
Functionality: The OCM15 counts particles based on ISO 4406 standards, designed for high-viscosity oils and oils with air bubbles, which are excluded from the count. The water sensor measures relative humidity (%RH), with storage for 4,000 tests. Data can be exported via USB for analysis in the CJC® View Program. Monitoring happens on the "dirty" side, upstream of the filter.
Installation & Maintenance: The OCM15 is mounted on the CJC® HDU 27/- filter base, providing stable flow across varying viscosity levels, ensuring accurate readings. Data can be accessed through an RS 485 Modbus RTU interface for easy SCADA integration. The OCM15 requires recalibration every two years by returning it to C.C.JENSEN A/S for service.
